Jennifer Aniston's Getting Hitched

On Sunday, August 12, 2012 Jennifer Aniston announced that she is getting married to Justin Theroux. Theroux is known for writing screenplays, including “Iron Man 2.” This will be the his first marriage. Before being with Aniston, he was in a long relationship with heidi Bivens, who is a costume designer.

Theroux and Aniston first met about five years ago when he worked on the set of “Tropic Thunder." Rumors were made that they started to have a "thing" while on set. She admits that nothing happend and that is was all a rumor. Aniston says, "He's the most cold, icy, fishy kind of guy, I'm trying to warm him up."

It's been seven years since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston got divorced, she says shes ready to start over, with someone new, and this is her chance. Aniston and Theroux purchaced a $21 million California mansion. This is their way to start a new life, and a place to call home.

Michigan Teen Highly Humiliated

On Septmber 13, Michigan native, Whittney Kropp, was elected to be on the highschool homecoming court at Ogemaw Heights High School in the small town of West Branch, Michigan, only to find out it was all a prank. Kropp's mother said she has been bullied before but never to this extent.

Kropp was interviewed and spoke out about the event. She says,"I thought I wasn't worthy. I was this big old joke."

Although many of her peers were invloved in this prank, her community has come together to support her. They created a Facebook page that is quickly gaining likes. She has been commended for her courage  to speak out. She was recently on the Today Show. This occurance has become national news. The country is coming together to try and turn this awful thing into something as positive as the situation allows.

Alzheimer's Awareness Kick Off Week!

Alzheimer's is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. It effects approximately one in eight people every year. The Wyoming community has not been left out of these statistic. Many people here locally have been personally effected by this awful disease. That is why we, as a community, have taken the initiative to fight this battle with our Alzheimer's awareness kick off week.

For the last couple weeks Wyoming High School has been selling purple t-shirts to the community to get the spirit boosted for the Friday night football game. Leading up to the game, there will be events for the community to come out and enjoy. At 3-6:30pm there will be a tailgating event with ice cream and local vendors. Starting at around 3:30-4:30 there will be a kickball game consisting of Wyoming High School students and staff versus Wyoming's Junior High staff and students. All these events will wrap with the Varsity football game at 7 o'clock. The game is against Sparta.

Wyoming's defensive player, Alex Ramirez, that he expects "to win... and play the BEST game."
