Michigan Teen Highly Humiliated

On Septmber 13, Michigan native, Whittney Kropp, was elected to be on the highschool homecoming court at Ogemaw Heights High School in the small town of West Branch, Michigan, only to find out it was all a prank. Kropp's mother said she has been bullied before but never to this extent.

Kropp was interviewed and spoke out about the event. She says,"I thought I wasn't worthy. I was this big old joke."

Although many of her peers were invloved in this prank, her community has come together to support her. They created a Facebook page that is quickly gaining likes. She has been commended for her courage  to speak out. She was recently on the Today Show. This occurance has become national news. The country is coming together to try and turn this awful thing into something as positive as the situation allows.

  1. K: In my opinion, I believe the only reason why its such a "big deal" is because its a small town. Yeah, it was rude that they are picking on her all the time, and pulled a prank on her. But if that happened to a big school, like ours, no one would care. Just saying.
& You should have a link to the facebook group, so we could see whats going on!
